The kindest thing that anybody said to me on the road, was in the States doing Masterclasses and Dinners (as is my wont!). A lady sidled up to me and said, “For a Frenchman - you know - your English is not so bad”. I have to say, as an Englishman, that that hits me on so many different levels!Nonetheless, an invitation to do a Masterclass for DECANTER Magazine in a grand hotel in London obviously gets my attention and support - especially when you have Château Léoville Barton, Louis Roederer, Brunello, and Contino featuring on the same venue
